Room, great, food, great, closeness to beach, great view.
It was perfect, great value for the money.
The best rest because this hotel is far away from the center and we had a good opportunity to walk a lot.
There isn"t a balcony in the room. We couldn"t put linen out to dry.
Parking is free.
We have chosen this hotel based on the fact that wifi is available in the entire property. Upon arrival we discovered that only few, business rooms have wifi. Lobby had a very poor signal that was available only in one particular spot. Reception personnel admitted that they know about the poor reception bjut was not aware that property is being advertised as fully covered by wifi signal. Breakfast was unremarkable.
The view of the Mediterranean from our room was priceless.
I didn't get a good sense of 'clean' upon seeing the room. It probably started with the rusty door as we entered. The breakfast buffet was ok but very limiting,
We booked a Suite. The rooms are big. there are 2 bath rooms, one of them facing the sea. Very comfortable. There are one sofar bed already, and we ask to add another bed, charging only $38 for 3 nights. It is very suitable for a family with 2 children.
the hotel is a bit farther away from city center
Very clean and beautiful surroundings a few steps from the clean beach good if not spectacular food
Couldnt use spa or gym or swimming pool they were all closed staff were not very nice not much to do if staying in hotel eg pool table tennis
Absolutely nothing! The best part about this hotel was leaving it. It was filthy, the bathroom was like an army barracks, cracked tiles, rusty shower, filthy carpets in rooms and corridors, the dining room has disgusting plastic old chairs, and filthy cutlery. And you charge £100 a night for staying in this dump. It is not fit to be sold to tourists. You should delete it from your list. What a waste of money. Out trip was ruined and we checked out early and came home. Disgraceful.
Location and quality of the breakfast offering.
Overall condition of the room and common areas.
One of the better hotels in Netanya and probably best value for money, though this is perhaps because its location is not great for walking to town
"Do not disturb" does not have much meaning in this hotel. To room cleaners it means "knock and then enter". Also entertainment (including very painful karaoke) goes on until late at night and is loud.
The view from the room , in front of the ocean very nice, lot of space to relax, good swiming pool, and sea near by,
Little kitchen , with no plates ,glases, knifes and forks,
Upon entering the hotel I was impressed by its beautiful design and appearance. It was in a great location! Right near a private beach and close enough to town. It was clean and basically comfortable. They provide a scrumptious breakfast w/ anything you could want (breads, cheeses, veg., Pancakes etc.)
However, I was quite disappointed w/ the staff. They were not very helpful at all!!! In addition, I think an improvment is neccesary in terms of the paperwork of nearby attractions. It is very hard to do spontaneous trips if there is n/t available. Also, when I went to the gym there was a 25 shekel charge! I don't think that's fair considering what I paid for the room. Then I tried the massage chairs and they were broken. Also, the bed wasn't so comfy...Its overall a good hotel that could use some improvement.
The hotel is set right above the cliffs overlooking the beach. The garden rooms in particular offer fantastic sea views. The pool is large and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide selection and tasted pretty good too.
For the price you pay, the hotel doesn't quite meet expectations. The service was not always great - only at reception do the staff speak good English, so if you don't have any Hebrew it can be a bit of a struggle. The food is not as good on Shabbat (Friday evening, Saturday until sunset), but that would be true in most Israeli hotels. If you want to be away from everything this is a good choice as it's outside of the centre of Netanya and right by the beach, but if you opt to go into Netanya it's a 30-40 minute walk to the bars and restaurants. For us, if we were to go back, we'd pick a hotel in the town centre as Netanya is a really lovely place with great beaches, lots of choice for food and drink, and a great promenade to walk along, all of which you're a bit cut off from at the Blue Bay. Also, the beach immediately below the hotel was not very clean, with lots of rubbish littering a fairly narrow strip of sand, which was disappointing.
Location, swimming pool, price, breakfast.
Hotel staff, even if manageable to resolve a request, sometimes is needed to insist a little bit.
Location is good, could walk to beach for swim in the morning. Management very helpful with internet use and helping to print documents for return flight.....many thanks.
Dissapointed that swimming pool was closed even though by U.k conditions weather was hot! I had to ask for a change of room due to very noisy air condition unit near by room that kept me awake all night after very tireing journey. The person at desk was reluctant to give me new room but after some deliberation gave me another room that had a connecting door to the next room which in turn meant the noise level was high from people in next room which continued late into the night. All in all not a very positive experience.
Under construction.. Rain came thru windows wet FLOORS>>.
